Volunteer duties & schedule

TASK LIST
Your help is needed and appreciated. Below are some of the tasks the volunteers
are expected to assist and perform at the HOT Chips conference.
Saturday:
• Move supplies and equipment from the Mountain View storage to Stanford
• Unpack equipment
• Set up the registration desk
• Set up printed badges for conference attendees to pick up
• Prepare conference bags to be given out to conference attendees
• Set up parking/directional signage on Stanford campus for directing
conference attendees to Memorial Auditorium
• Set up internal signs (for phone, restrooms etc)
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday:
• Hand out badges, tutorial notes and/or conference proceedings
• Move conference proceedings to and from the back room.
• Direct crowds during breaks
• Assist with on-site registration
• Sell conference proceeding and/or tutorial notes and other things
from previous HOT Chips
Miscellaneous work Tuesday Evening:
• Pack up registration desk
• Pack up conference proceedings and/or tutorial notes in boxes to
be taken to Mountain View storage
• Load boxes, equipment and supplies going to Mountain View storage
• Clean-up the front lobby for HOT Interconnects Conference set up
