Preorder pricing extended until October 15, 2006

Due to several requests from potential HOT CHIPS 18 DVD customers, we have extended the pre-order pricing for HOT CHIPS 18 DVD sets until October 15, 2006. If you managed to attend Hot Chips 18, thank you for making this the most successful Hot Chips of the past 10 years. We had 500+ attendees, representing more than 200 companies, from 15 different countries worldwide. As far as technical content, we received a record number of paper submissions. We had an exciting three days of the conference with two tutorials, 27 presentations, 2 keynote speeches and 1 panel discussion.

If you could not attend (or even if you did) and want to relive the experience, we have got a few things going:

1. Get the keynote presentations in color PDF format from http://www.hotchips.org/hc18/presentations.htm

2. Order a proceedings CD (USD $55) with the most up-to-date tutorial, paper, and keynote presentations in color PDF format. You can order your copy of proceedings CD for our online store at http://www.hotchips.org/hc18/store.htm. For more information see below. If you are in no hurry to get the updated presentation PDFs, starting January 2007, you can download them for free from the Hot Chips archives (http://www.hotchips.org/archives).

3. Order Hot Chips conference DVDs: We've been asked in the past offer video of the conference, because the slide presentations without the audio, video, or audience questions doesn't give the complete picture that being in the audience does. So, as an experiment this year, we have had the audio and video of the entire conference professionally recorded and edited. It will be availble as several DVD sets within the next five weeks. (See below for order information).

If you pre-order before September 22nd, you'll be eligible for a 15% discount on the DVD sets. Companies can order one copy of the DVD set and share it among the interested engineers in your company who were to busy trying to meet deadlines to attend - or put it in your company library, or on your company intranet.

The call for contributions has now ended. The program committee consisting of members from academia and industry, is busy sorting through a record number of paper submissions this year. As usual, the passionate and highly dedicated members of the program and organizing committees are working together to provide high quality content and experience to the HOT CHIPS conference attendees.
