TCMM student housing grant
Hot Chips is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Community on Microprocessors and Microcomputers (TCMM). TCMM is providing a limited number of housing grants to help eligible students offset the cost of staying in the Stanford dorms during Hot Chips.
Students may apply for a housing grant that reduces the Stanford dorm housing rate to $25 per night ($75 for three nights, $100 for four nights). You must already be registered for Hot Chips as a student, and you must apply using the same email address as your Hot Chips registration. Grants are awarded first come, first served until they run out.
To apply, email tcmm-chair@computer.org and registration@hotchips.org with the subject “Hot Chips 2026 housing grant”. Include a short description of your background as a student and your interest in Hot Chips, state the school you attend, attach your resume, and CC a faculty member who can endorse your application. Applications are due by Saturday, August 15, 2026, and you can expect a response within 48 hours.
If your application is approved, you will receive a discount code to apply when you register for housing.
